Judge, professor and environmental hero Brian Preston reflects on finding the path to law at Macquarie

As Chief Judge of the NSW Land and Environment Court, Brian Preston made legal history in 2019 by blocking the construction of a coal mine in the Hunter Valley due to its impact on global warming. He also authored Australia's first book on environmental litigation. Speaking to host Sandra Odorisio, Preston recounts a career that began as one of the first graduates of the newly established Macquarie Law School.
