What's the downside when consuming news now that anyone can be a content producer? How is knowledge circulated in today's ever-evolving media landscape?
Professor Catharine Lumby and Dr Theresa Senft from the Department of Media, Music, Communication and Cultural Studies share their thoughts on the changing face of media at home and abroad.
They share observations of the #MeToo and Destroy the Joint movements; the March For Our Lives rallies; and comment on the growing trend of universities becoming publishers and a new frontier of authoritative and trustworthy news.
